Website Disclaimer

The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Friars of Keswick and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Friars of Keswick takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Post and Packing

All orders placed by 12pm Monday to Friday (excluding UK bank holidays) will be dispatched the same day, orders taken after this time will be processed and sent the following day.  Orders placed after 12pm on a Friday and orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be processed and sent until the next working day.

With our Standard Delivery option parcels will be sent with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and will take 2-5 working days to arrive, although heavier parcels may be sent by courier. This service will require a signature upon delivery and is available to all addresses within the UK, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. If no-one is home to accept delivery the parcel will be returned to the local sorting office, the recipient can then either collect the item or re-arrange delivery.

Our next day delivery option will be sent with a courier on a next day by 4.00pm service, this service will require a signature upon delivery. Please note this service is only available for mainland UK addresses (excluding Scottish Highlands). If no-one is home to accept delivery a card will be left informing the recipient that they have attempted to deliver and the parcel will be returned to the local depot. The recipient can then re-arrange delivery or collect the item themselves. Please note the courier will only hold the parcel for 3 days, after this time it will be returned to us.

We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or due to the recipient failing to contact their local Royal Mail sorting office or courier depot within a reasonable time to arrange collection or re-delivery. We reserve the right to charge a fee for re-delivery of items that are returned to us for this reason.

To ensure prompt delivery please make sure you enter the correct address and post code when placing your order, Friars of Keswick cannot be held responsible for late or failed delivery if the address or post code are entered incorrectly.

If your parcel fails to arrive please contact us as soon as possible so that we may track your order, you can find details of how to contact us on the contact us page of this website. If your order is lost in transit we will either re-send your order or offer a full refund, including delivery charges.

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Electron, unfortunately we do not currently accept American Express. When placing an order please enter the registered billing address for your credit or debit card correctly to ensure a prompt service.

We use a secure server with encrypted data to ensure your transactions are secure, a padlock icon will show up in the bottom right corner to indicate that you are in a secure area.

Pricing and Products

All prices quoted are in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
We reserve the right to make changes to our prices and products at any time without giving notice. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. We do our utmost to ensure we have high levels of stock however if for any reason a product you have ordered is unavailable we will notify you as soon as possible.

Cancellation

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order you have the right to do so in writing up to and within 7 days of delivery in accordance with the distance selling directive. We will refund the purchase price including postage,  the goods must then be returned, in good condition and un-opened, at the customers expense.

Returns

Every effort is made to ensure our products arrive in perfect condition if however an item is damaged or faulty on arrival please contact us immediately on receipt of the goods. Provided the product is returned to us within 7 days and is un-opened and in its original packaging we will either re-send the product or refund the purchase price.

If you are not entirely satisfied with a product for some reason other than it being damaged or faulty please contact us immediately stating your reason for the dissatisfaction. If there is a problem with the product we will refund the purchase price or send a replacement, if however we deem the product to be in a perfect condition then we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the goods.

Your Account

When you place an order with us you may want to create a user account in order to make future purchases a much simpler process. To do this we will need to collect certain information about you, this will include your name, address, contact telephone number and e-mail address. We will also collect credit or debit card information in order to process payments. When you open an account you will need to create a username and password in order to access your account, please keep this information confidential as Friars of Keswick cannot be held responsible for any misuse of your account. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe your account is being used in an un-authorised manner.

Privacy Policy

The privacy of our customers is very important to us. The information we collect when you place an order will only be used to process orders and if necessary contact you regarding the status of your order. We may use your e-mail address to contact you occasionally about new products, seasonal lines and special offers however you can opt out of this by unsubscribing at any time. Your information is confidential and we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.

Cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
